It's officially been more than 6 weeks!
Studies generally say that you should "see" results of a diet/exercise program after 6 weeks. I saw them alot sooner, but I took that thought today and actually looked at my body, and what has changed.
If I flex my arms, I have muscles in there. Also, I'm not avoiding sleeveless shirts (okay, i am right now, but that's only because it's the middle of winter here... but otherwise I wouldn't
My stomach used to be this huge amount of skin that completely hung over my pants. (I had a condition when pregnant called polyhydramnios, that means you have WAY too much amniotic fluid. Because of that, I will always have nasty sagging skin on my belly, BUT doesn't mean I shouldn't try to make it as pretty as possible.) Well, now my tummy has no hanging skin left. I mean, there's still the bubble of extra skin, but it's not hanging anywhere. (i.e. I don't look pregnant anymore, which usually is how it looked!)
My legs have crazy definition now. There's that indentation which shows my muscle that I hadn't seen in 2+ years. Also, my calves are now getting sculpted instead of just being these fat things chilling under my thighs.
My booty. Okay, I won't talk about the booty in detail, but lets just say it has improved.
One thing that's very exciting is how I wake up every day feeling better, more confident, and since I know I'll eventually hit my goal, I feel very happy.
Okay, well enough rambling on and on about myself... I'm going to go upstairs and pack. Love you guys!
OH, and just wait until my weigh-in on Wednesday... it's gonna be a shocker, because it's already a shocker to me what I weigh today!
