This weekend was a good test for me. I was going AWAY from my gym (comfort zone) AND was going to be surrounded by food (party) and friends and family. Plus there's road food, since I was driving EVERYWHERE and LOTS of temptation.
I survived. I was actually pretty proud of myself. When stopping for gas I stocked up on water, string cheese, and nuts to snack on. My best friend and I (nicole) brought a veggie tray AND a fruit tray to my sis's party. (i did have some bad food there...but NOT alot, just a few handfuls). No one opened the fruit tray, so we snuck it back to my jeep and had it on the ride back to her town the next morning for breakfast!
So...here was my weekend:
Friday with a hectic and BUSY day I still made time to hit the playgym EVENTHOUGH it was only for an hour...but I made it count by running and challenging myself. Saturday: I woke up after ONLY 4 hours of sleep to drive 1.5 hours away to drop my friend off and hit the other base gym I USED to go to all the time. ( I was DETERMINED!) Then Saturday night, the friends were drinking and I had 5 Diet Cokes. Okay...so I usually don't drink diet coke, but I was pretty bored and needed to occupy myself since my buddies were getting drunk and being crazy. Then we went out to "drunk breakfast"...I didn't get anything. :) Sunday morning: woke up TIRED and after only FIVE hours of sleep I still hit the gym AGAIN, but since I had a pracs screening I had to take it easy (you aren't supposed to do anything strenous, but I didn't like the idea of NO workout...so I did really simple elliptical and walking). Monday was the only day I didn't workout...and I didn't eat bad driving the almost 5 hours home. I did eat a little bad after I was home and after some grocery shopping...but I think I MORE than made up for it with my CRAZY workout tonight. :)
So...there was my weekend. Funny enough, I ACTUALLY hit my sis's party weight goal! Friday morning I weighed in at 151.0 exactly! Although this morning I did show a small gain...I know it was just because I had pizza last night. Hopefully by the end of the week it all evens itself out...but I'm not worried.

I wanted to include a photo (here is me at probably 150ish lbs...this weekend BEFORE the pizza, lol) I was wearing a dress, which I hadn't done since my wedding....almost 6 years ago...and it should be known that my wedding dress was really long....haven't worn a dress to show my legs since my sister graduated high school...so that's uh, like 7 years. WOW huh? But, I didn't end up wearing it for the night. I think it looks pretty nice from the front...but on the side I looked a few months pregnant because of my kangaroo pouch after having my baby. I was wearing control top pantyhose and USUALLY i suck in my kangaroo pouch, but since the pantyhose were so tight...I couldn't and was left with a little "pregnant" looking belly. TRUST me, I'm not being vain. You can ask my friend Nicole...from the side I DID look pregnant, she admitted it...and that's ok...one day I'll get a tummy tuck!!! :)
